Biography
Brendan Riordan is a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) working in Cardiothoracic Surgery Critical Care at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He previously completed a post-graduate fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and now specializes in the post-operative management of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients. Clinically, his interests are in mechanical circulatory support, management of cardiogenic shock, and medical ethics, and he thoroughly enjoys using social media as a platform to engage medical professionals around the world. He can usually be found sarcastically posting on Twitter (@concernecus).
